What sets Deuschle Spindles apart
The careful selection of bearings is critical to the reliable operation of high-speed spindles. For this reason, Deuschle works closely with leading bearing manufacturers that offer extensive expertise and decades of experience in spindle technology.
We primarily use hybrid spindle bearings, which provide significant advantages over conventional steel bearings, including reduced wear, higher maximum operating speeds, and lower axial shaft displacement. These characteristics contribute to enhanced performance, increased precision, and extended service life.
For spindles designed for lower loads and lower speed ranges, high-quality steel bearings are used to ensure an optimal balance of performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
The quality control of the products takes place in our in-house testing facility and is carried out according to key factors. Every spindle is tested: 100%.

The bearing arrangement depends on the operating load. The front bearing assembly is usually installed as a fixed bearing, while the rear assembly is a floating bearing (with spring preload). This offers a significant advantage in machining accuracy (minimal elongation).
High stiffness
Deuschle prefers to use manual HSK toolholders. Due to the face contact between the spindle holder and the tool face, the stiffness of HSK is approximately three times higher than that of conventional taper connections such as SK (steep taper).
Excellent switching accuracy
The flat contact surface between the spindle and the tool enables optimal axial positioning accuracy in HSK tools. The reduced taper contact in HSK tools minimizes runout errors.
Excellent application in high-speed machining >18000rpm
The centrifugal force generated by high rotational speeds increases the effective pulling force. With the SK, however, the centrifugal force acts against the clamping force. This results in a reduction of the pulling force.
Excellent torque transmission
The tool of an HSK (hollow taper) has complete contact with the spindle taper and the face when clamped. This defined face contact results in greater rigidity compared to the SK (steep taper). Further advantages of the HSK include its suitability for higher speeds, excellent indexing accuracy (approx. 3 μm), and the fact that the pull-in force increases with speed. Torque is transmitted frictionally via the two contact surfaces. HSK variants with drive teeth also transmit torque positively.

Deuschle's active sealing air technology
No Limits. Just Solutions.
Contaminants generated during the machining process are prevented from entering the spindle interior by an active air sealing system at the spindle nose. This design utilizes deep-hole drilling through the spindle housing in combination with a precision-engineered labyrinth seal, enabling a sealing pressure of up to 2 bar. Compared to conventional sealing solutions, which typically operate at around 0.5 bar, this technology provides significantly enhanced protection against contamination. The result is improved operational reliability, reduced wear, and extended spindle service life, even in demanding machining environments.
More than 4,000 newly manufactured spindles delivered worldwide are operating reliably across a wide range of applications. Our spindles are used throughout the metalworking and plastics processing industries, as well as in custom machine building and other specialized industrial sectors. Whether your application involves grinding, drilling, milling, deburring, or dressing, we provide spindle solutions tailored to your specific requirements and operating conditions. Tell us about your application and performance requirements. We'll develop the right solution.
Our spindles are designed for a wide variety of applications and performance requirements. From economical standard solutions to highly specialized custom designs, Deuschle offers a broad spectrum of spindle technologies.
The various product lines make it possible to choose the right solution for every application – precisely tailored to speed, power, design and area of application.
Our manufacturing technologies
Precision arises from the controlled interplay of manufacturing, materials, metrology, and assembly. Our manufacturing process is designed precisely for this purpose. At Deuschle, virtually all relevant processing steps are carried out in-house – from mechanical machining and high-precision grinding processes to assembly and subsequent quality control.
This continuous process chain makes it possible to directly influence all dimensionally and functionally critical parameters , to detect deviations early and to ensure that every component in the overall system functions precisely and reliably.
